Why Join Arasapha?
Arasapha is not your grandmother's garden club! Many of our members are not especially interested in gardening. They join because our two signature volunteer projects are fun and great ways to meet the nicest people in town!  
  • May Market, where we sell plants, herbs, donated household items, and more, is our major fundraiser, with proceeds benefitting the gardens of the historic Amstel and Dutch House gardens and Arasapha's programs.
  • Wreath Workshop is an annual project in which we decorate over 100 all-natural wreaths that adorn the Historic District's public buildings and businesses during the holiday season. ​
Arasapha members also join because they gain:
  • ​​The satisfaction of showing that they are visible and vocal supporters of the club and its projects.
  • ​Opportunities to learn about gardening through garden mentors, our annual members-only Garden Walkabout, May Market, our garden tips webpage and, depending on interest, other periodic educational opportunities
  • An annual membership directory
  • Opportunities to contribute to club plans, principles, policies​, and leadership

Dues
Individual memberships are $45 per calendar year. Family memberships are $60 per year. and student memberships, for anyone with a current valid student ID, are $5 per year.  The dues of anyone joining between October 1 and December 31 are  considered paid through the following calendar year.

We now have two ways to join the Arasapha Garden Club and become a part of a community and volunteer based group of support for local historic gardens around The Historic New Castle.
Currently the only memberships we can accept online are the Family and Individual Memberships.
Due to the need to verify student ​status please you the download and mail in option for these types of membership.
