Arasapha is not your grandmother's garden club! Many of our members are not especially interested in gardening. They join because our two signature volunteer projects are fun and great ways to meet the nicest people in town!
  • May Market, where we sell plants, herbs, donated household items, and more, is our major fundraiser, with proceeds benefitting the gardens of the historic Amstel and Dutch House gardens and Arasapha's programs.
  • Wreath Workshop is an annual project in which we decorate over 100 all-natural wreaths that adorn the Historic District's public buildings and businesses during the holiday season.
Arasapha members also join because they gain:
  • The satisfaction of showing that they are visible and vocal supporters of the club and its projects.
  • Opportunities to learn about gardening through garden mentors, our annual members-only Garden Walkabout, May Market, our garden tips webpage and, depending on interest, other periodic educational opportunities
  • An annual membership directory
  • Opportunities to contribute to club plans, principles, policies, and leadership
